About

we are reimagining what it means to go to church.

The church is not new, but NET Church is! We aren’t doing anything that has not already been done. In fact, one of our goals is to avoid making things up that church is not supposed to be about.

We are a local church–based in North Texas; yet we can be anywhere–even right where you are. 2020 gave us the gift of having to do everything online. That allowed us to connect with people beyond Texas, and even beyond the United States! We want to know Christ and know each other. To accomplish this, we’re going to try to keep things small. Primarily meeting online, in homes, and other small spaces, our desire is to create small groups of familiar people.

At NET Church, our mission is simple: Love God. Love People. Make Disciples. Teach Truth. Live like Jesus.

We’re just getting started!

NET Church is a church plant of the Golden Gate Missionary Baptist Church, in Dallas, TX.

Mission

Love God. Love People. Make Disciples. Teach Truth. Live like Jesus.

Matthew 22:37-40 | “Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.’”

Matthew 28:18-20 | “Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’”

Philippians 2:1-8 | “Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!”

These articles talk a bit more about the 5 statements of our mission.

vision

The vision of NET Church is to make God known and make His name great by making disciples and developing Christian community, in which people can grow as they go through life together—loving one another, in Christ, and spreading that love everywhere they are and every place they go.

Acts 2:42-47 | “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
